Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, to loving Jamaican parents, Ethan and Evan, Londa’s childhood is characterized by Gospel music and service. Alongside her musician father and brothers, Londa was singing at church since the age of 7, and performing professionally since 14, as a member of Toronto’s renowned Youth Outreach Mass Choir. Londa continued her musical career as part of the Gospel Soul Sisters before joining the internationally acclaimed Sharon Riley & Faith Chorale.
Londa’s powerful voice led her to appear in the blockbuster film, The Blues Brothers 2000. Under the direction of John Landis, Londa performed in the film and recorded the Grammy nominated, Certified Gold (U.S.) soundtrack alongside musical icons Aretha Franklin, Erykah Badu, James Brown, Sam Moore, Taj Mahal, Bo Diddley, Isaac Hayes, Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton.
